Fox 38 Factory Fork - 27.5" - GRIP-X2 - 44mm Offset - 160mm - 2027
Five years in, the new 38 is once again upping the ante for Enduro and aggressive All-Mountain fork performance. Learning from the design of the FOX Podium fork and its exemplary ride feel, the new 38 is 8.8% stiffer fore/aft and 6.8% less stiff in torsion. The new 38 also increases its bushing overlap from 120mm to 140mm for the smoothest possible ride at high speed and under high impacts.Ā
The new 38 also has the updated Grip X2 damper. This update includes a newĀ mid-valve piston and valve stack design, revised bleed port and valve stack shapes for improved oil flow, all which add moreĀ support without added harshness.
It also features the Glidecore air spring that allows the air shaft to flex both vertically and laterally under load, reducing binding when the fork is under stressāespecially in aggressive riding situations.
And one of the last performance enhancements comes from anĀ MCU bottom-out bumperĀ to the air spring for smoother end-stroke feel, and newĀ volume spacers in 5cc incrementsĀ (old 10cc volume spacers still work, but the new 5mm increments gives you more control!).
